João Borges was born in 2002 in Queluz. He began taking private piano lessons at the age of eight with the maestro Simão Barreto. In 2020, he joined the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra (Metropolitana), studying Piano for Chamber Music and Accompaniment. At this institution he had the opportunity to join the Orquestra Académica Metropolitana on piano and the Orquestra Sinfónica Metropolitana on celesta. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Music at the University of Aveiro.
