Conference venue

The 2025 IMISCOE conference will take place at Campus Condorcet, France’s largest and most modern urban campus, inaugurated in 2019. The campus hosts 11 universities and research institutions specialized in humanities and social sciences, including Ined, CNRS, EHESS, EPHE, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and the largest scientific library in France. Referred to as the City of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Campus is developed as a prominent hub for research, both in France and internationally.

The campus offers a wide range of amenities and its surroundings are highly attractive due to their proximity to Paris, the National Archives, the City of Sciences and Industry, and many other attractions.

Most of the Campus Condorcet is reserved for the 22nd annual IMISCOE Conference between 1–4 July, with its 8 spaces available to the participants:

  • Centre des Colloques for the plenary sessions and some of the side events (the conference center in front of the Metro exit)
  • The building of EHESS, one of the institutions in the ICM consortium
  • Bâtiment Recherche Sud (where our Migrations Master classes usually take place)
  • Hôtel à Projets (where our ICM offices are located)
  • INED, another ICM Consortium member
  • Humathèque, the multimedia resource center with a co-working open space, exhibition spaces and auditoriums
  • Bâtiment Recherche Nord, where our CNRS colleagues are based
  • The Cultural and Associative Center with many of our partners

A plan of the buildings and clear color-coded instructions will be provided on-site and in the mobile application closer to the event.
