Unfortunately, the COVID19 crisis has had implications for the organization of our 2020 annual conference. The conference was scheduled to take place 30 June - 2 July this year at the University of Luxembourg.
We have received word from the University of Luxembourg that, due to the COVID19 crisis, there was no other option than to cancel the conference for these dates and to postpone the conference to June-July 2021. With this decision UL is following the recommendations of the Government of Luxembourg and the unforeseeable situation in the upcoming months.
We fully respect this decision and thank Prof. Birte Nienaber and Nicole Holzapfel-Mantin for the hard work they have done already, and for their prudent approach to this complex situation. We understand that this news is disappointing for everyone who was looking forward to the IMISCOE conference. We will keep you well informed in the upcoming weeks, and we hope you can join and attend the conference next year. For this year, we are exploring if it would be possible to offer part of the program to you via virtual platform. More information on this will follow soon!
Finally: for those who have already paid their registration fee for this year, we intend to fully reimburse the fee if you are not able to attend the conference at an alternative date. For contact about reimbursement of your fee, please contact Warda Belabas, via
