IMISCOE Spring Conference – PhD Event

Crafting Impactful Migration Research: Insights from Journal Editors

The IMISCOE PhD Network invites PhD students to join us for this year's PhD event at the Spring Conference held at Koç University. Centered around the theme "Crafting Impactful Migration Research: Insights from Journal Editors," this engaging session is scheduled for April 17, from 10:30 to 12:00 Turkish time (9:30-11:00 CET).

The program will commence with welcoming remarks, followed by an introduction to the IMISCOE PhD Network. A highlight of the event will be a Panel Discussion featuring Prof. Gerasimos Tsourapas (Editor of Migration Studies), dr. Ayşen Üstübici, and dr. Deniz Sert (Editors of International Migration). The discussion will explore the complexities of publishing in renowned migration journals, offer strategies for successful manuscript submissions, and provide insights into the latest trends in migration research.

This event will be available both on-site at Koç University (MiReKoc) and via the Webex platform.
