GenSeM Migration Dialogue - Book Launch: Decided Return Migration

Book Launch: Decided Return Migration: Emotions, Citizenship, Home and Belonging in Bosnia and Herzegovina

A GenSeM Migration Dialogue (online)

The open access book "Decided Return Migration: Emotions, Citizenship, Home and Belonging in Bosnia and Herzegovina" creates new conceptual links between return migration, political emotions, citizenship, home and belonging. We begin this 60 minute book launch with Aida Ibričević briefly outlining the making of her book and the methodology it employs, its contribution to existing literatures, and how the book enhances understanding of contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina. Next, a panel of leading migration scholars are invited to critique the book from theoretical, methodological and case-country perspectives. We end the event by opening the discussion for questions and comments from the audience.

Date: 10 March 2025, 13:00 CEST, Online
