This is an interdisciplinary event that critically examines gendered and racialized harm across various forms of displacement, with a spotlight on Australia’s extraterritorial asylum regime.
MOIRA DUSTIN (CHAIR) - Dr Moira Dustin is Co-Convenor of Women in Refugee Law (WiRL) and Lecturer and Knowledge Exchange and Impact Coordinator at University of Sussex.
SABA VASEFI (SPEAKER) - Dr Saba Vasefi is an award-winning scholar-journalist, poet, documentary filmmaker. University of Sydney and Honorary Postdoctoral Associate at Macquarie University.
KATE OGG (SPEAKER) - Dr Kate Ogg is a Professor of Law at Australian National University.
